At 7 o’clock a.m. on November 5, the 5# 72k DWT product carrier constructed by DSIC for COSCO Shipping sailed out of the berth for her voyage of sea trial, for which, the on-water mooring period is 56 days, M/E mooring is 53 days after her launching, the shortest in the same series of ships, and pre-trial integrity reaches to 98.77 points, which has set another new record for pretrial integrity in the same series.
During her construction, DSIC, with high attention and thorough deployment, has implemented the idea of Production Safety and Green Shipbuilding rigidly. In terms of construction management, scientific management, rational draw-up of construction plans and innovation of construction methodology have helped raise construction efficiency and shorten the construction period effectively. In terms of quality management, due to adhering to self inspection and internal inspection, and earnest implementing of 3-level inspection system so as to ensure construction quality to conform to the standards, many items such as bow lighting system test, location confirmation of firefighting and lifesaving outfitings have achieved exemption from inspection. In terms of safety management, conduct targeted prevention and control on key points, and carry out safety training so as to furnish powerful guarantee to her safe fabrication.
